Kasteel Wurfeld
As a frequent traveler, I have stayed in numerous hotels around the world. During my recent travel to Maaseik, I had the opportunity to stay at Kasteel Wurfeld, and I must say, it served its purpose well. the location of the hotel was extremely convenient for me as it was the nearest airport to the Liège Airport, which was only 54 km away. This made it a perfect choice for me as I was looking for a place to stay during my transit. the hotel's database provided detailed information about the nearby attractions and notable places to visit in Maaseik, which helped me plan my short visit effectively.
The beds in the hotel were not particularly comfortable, especially the mattresses and pillows.

Excellent dinner food. They offer light meals at the bar which are excellent quality.
Very basic breakfast for 15 euro.

My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Kasteel Wurfeld greatly, and will definately stay there again. The room was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. The room and bathroom were both very clean, and the housekeeping staff does a great job throughout the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. Most of the staff understood English pretty well, and the hotel management/owners are fluent. The continental breakfast was very good with an excellent assortment of hot food along with pastries and cold cuts. I will certainly recommend Kasteel Wurfeld to everyone, it is a wonderful place to stay.

The rooms at Kasteel Wurfeld are absolutely charming, with elegant antique furnishings that make you feel like royalty. I loved the cozy atmosphere and modern comforts that are provided. As someone who appreciates both history and comfort, these rooms were a dream come true.
Personally, I found the TV in the room to be a bit outdated. But hey, that's just my subjective opinion, and I'm sure others can still enjoy it.

Quiet place surrounded by nature. Lovely castle style. Friendly personnel. Clean spacious room.
Restaurant although being kind of fancy, falls short of fine cousine. Breakfast could be better too.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and serene, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The garden is stunning, and even in bad weather, it was a delightful stroll. Our room for four people was impeccable - so clean and comfortable. The restaurant was equally impressive with its beautiful ambiance, though we unfortunately didn't have dinner there. However, the dishes looked mouthwatering! Breakfast was top-notch, with high-quality products and a satisfying variety. The drinks were reasonably priced and of excellent quality. The location is great for exploring nearby cities like Maastricht, Maasmechelen, and Aachen. I would definitely visit again!

Spent New Year's Eve at this hotel and the dinner was great. the staff was friendly and accommodating, even though they looked understaffed. the location was peaceful, surrounded by greenery and ideal for long walks.
The breakfast was disappointing. There were barely any options and no fresh fruits.

The rooms at Kasteel Wurfeld are cozy and comfortable, with every modern comfort you could ask for. The elegant antique furnishings give the rooms a charming, old-world atmosphere that makes you feel like royalty. I loved the private bathrooms, which were clean and equipped with a bath or shower. With free WiFi, I was able to stay connected during my stay. Plus, having a TV in the room was a nice bonus.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the quadruple room at Kasteel Wurfeld. The two double beds felt a bit cramped, especially if you're sharing the room with friends or family.

We have stayed at Kasteel Wurfeld twice in the last month and had a fantastic experience both times. the dinner we had with a large group of 34 people was excellent, with everyone being served at the same time and the food itself being of very good quality. the price to quality ratio of the restaurant was also impressive. the rooms were spacious, clean, and met our expectations. the castle itself had a quiet and serene atmosphere, both inside and outside. the young and friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable. Kasteel Wurfeld exceeded our expectations and offered great value for money. .

We had a wonderful cycling break in a great location surrounded by scenic beauty. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were spacious and clean. We particularly enjoyed the excellent restaurant with a good choice of wines, and the free parking made it easy for us to explore the area on our bicycles. One of the room had a more modern and homely loft feeling that we appreciated.
The breakfast variety was a bit limited compared to the high standards of the dinner menu.
